We didn't have a sports story for this issue. During my "thinking process," I thought about people we have never reported on.  Coach Luis Gomez's story with the boy's soccer team and soccer are unique. This story covers precisely that and the preparation for the seasons. I am not very well-versed in sports, but despite being an alum of a rival school sharing his story and the work he had done for the school is essential. At The Emery, we never report on this kind of story. The web managing editor, Satvika, and I, worked very hard to materialize and grasp the sense of relationship coach Gomez had with the boys.
